Fresh Start
Disappointment can be a slippery slope if you do not catch yourself fast enough. I am typing rapidly this morning because I was so close to just giving into the mind that says you are late and what is the point. We can always catchup if we want to show up. Last night was a wash, I did not get any of the intentions complete.
I was in a strange mental space. I am starting to shine the light on points where I stop. I quietly sneak away from the things I say matter. The irony is that in some cases I am not showing up and then forgetting that I had made a promise to myself. Time passes and I don’t even notice until regret kicks in and I wish I made better decisions.
I am so glad for my accountability activities. I am meeting Jill Andrews this evening and will be pulling out my Wilcox and Gibbs antique sewing machine for filming. I cannot wait to see the new dress she has sewn. It is the Lunar New Year a time to honor the past and welcome the future. When you have a rough start fight yourself to win the day back by showing up. You have still got time to align.
