Dream Club

Never underestimate the remarkable power of dreams held in community. Today we celebrate a remarkable man who lived in the madness of the mind to see the world differently. He wanted to embrace a world that was kind, fair and just. Through his conviction and ability to communicate he reshaped the course of history. The world is not perfect and neither are we but we can dream of the beautiful reality that we can build today. Thank you Dr. King for living your dreams.

I have been shaping myself with each new day, the morning is filled with a writing a blog post, meditation and then journaling. Throughout the day I have integrated continuous gratitude discussions in my mind where once I would ruminate on that which is not right. I slip up all the time over and over again before I return to smiling, but it is a constant cycle to keep the gratitude in conversation with my heart’s voice.

Don’t be in such a rush that you neglect the inner work, the foundational clearing and structuring to build the will of the self strong. You cannot move mountains with force, but you can learn to get better at climbing them with time. Develop a system that can keep you from your outdated patterns. You are your own riddle and the magical mission is singing every morning a song to be strong and evolve on the path that makes life grand.

Images from my most happy place Madison house. I am wearing the Duchess of Baltimore dress as I reviewed lace fabric swatches that had arrived for me to select.

This is the last Kebaya I started making but did not finish. The Master Kebaya Maker Ibu Nuri helped me to draft a pattern slightly bigger than my original size. I am wearing a beautiful design that was made for the Indonesian Ambassadors’s wife who was based on Washington, DC.

I am not sure that I was able to see the billboard in person, but I am happy to see the Duchess of Baltimore fashion campaign was able to look at the city with elegance and glamour.

This image was taken in New York when I was looking to source lace fabrics for Elsa Fitzgerald. I am wearing the Kebaya suit here with Nicole and Kelly.
